Ekuma Ikechukwu Ire is a dedicated educator in the Humanities Department at Hidden Treasures High School, where he teaches Religious Education with passion, clarity, and a deep commitment to character formation. Since joining the school in September 2023, Mr. Ekuma has become a valued member of the teaching faculty — known for his calm presence, structured lessons, and genuine care for every student in his classroom. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree and brings a thoughtful, values-driven approach to teaching. His lessons go beyond the syllabus; he weaves moral instruction, civic responsibility, and critical thinking into every topic, helping students connect faith, ethics, and everyday decision-making. His classroom is a place where questions are welcomed, and character is shaped alongside knowledge. As a teacher, Mr. Ekuma is particularly gifted at building trust with students of all backgrounds. Whether guiding a shy learner to speak up in class or encouraging a top performer to think more deeply, he approaches each student as an individual. Colleagues describe him as reliable, collaborative, and always willing to support the wider goals of the Humanities Department. A devoted family man, Mr. Ekuma is married and lives in Ekoli Edda, Ebonyi State. Outside the classroom, he enjoys reading, community service, and mentoring young people in his local area. He is a living example of Hidden Treasures High School's motto — Restoring Lost Values — and remains committed to raising a generation of students who are academically strong and morally upright.
